The Bid Support team drives and provides financial and commercial support to European Tech Data's front and back office organizations.
The main responsibility is to ensure that the Special Pricing Conditions are verified and implemented in our systems and visible to our customers in a timely and accurate matter.
A large part of Tech Data sales in Europe are under these Special Pricing Conditions, meaning that the sell price is below our purchase cost. These operations can be related to special agreements with the vendors, where a claim will need to be submitted for the difference after the sellout, or to internal supports to adjust current stock to the market.
The Bidsupport team is a hybrid that provides service to Marketing and Sales teams across Europe, while being a key component of the Finance controls, auditing the operations and ensuring that the agreements with the vendors are validated so that after the sellout, the financial statements are fully reflective of the company's financial situation.
Currently, the Bid Support team also provides a financial check on Sales Orders for End Customer bids above a certain threshold, releasing these only after ensuring the required documentation has been shared with our resellers as per TD's financial control policies.

Job Purpose
Implementing special price conditions to our customers, ensuring the maximum profit in Tech Data's commercial activity.
Commercial master data base maintenance.
Supporting the sales process by collaborating with the Marketing, Purchasing and Sales departments for all the European subsidiaries.
Tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Service Level Agreements (SLA) on a daily basis in conjunction with the corresponding country teams.
Accountabilities
Ensure the correct execution and implementation of special price conditions in our systems.
Accomplish and fulfill the SLAs & KPIs agreed with the European subsidiaries.
Skills, and/or Abilities Required
Service oriented and ability to manage customer expectations
Good verbal & written skills in English. Spanish and additional languages are a plus
Proactive and "can-do" attitude
