GENERAL SUMMARY: Tech Data IoT & Analytics Solutions group's mission is to help our customers and
vendors make IoT & Analytics simple so they can seize the opportunity much faster. We do this by leveraging our technology partner ecosystem to provide aggregated, end-to-end, ready-to-deploy solutions with best-of-breed components, ranging from fulfillment and secure connectivity of "things" to data aggregation, analytics and applications. This role will be responsible to drive tangible operations and improvements by prioritizing, transforming, standardizing and optimizing Tech Data's current and future operations across our European operations for IoT & Analytics. Key Characteristics · Key contributor to the commercialization of Tech Data's value proposition for IoT, operationalizing innovative end-to-end business and monetization models including supporting processes.
· Subject matter expert developing operational models to support one-time sales and new
recurrent revenue streams across the complete IoT solution offering.
· Defines and monitors customer success metrics to ensure plans are effective, makes recommendations on required changes in strategy, processes and systems.
· Feels passion about new technology trends and how to monetize such opportunities to bring Tech Data into the next level of the technology distribution landscape. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Drives commercialization of Tech Data's value proposition for IoT/A: helps identify and execute new business models emerging as a result of IoT/A. Partners with the IoT solutions leadership team and across LOBs to implement and commercialize IoT/A solutions to capitalize on identified opportunities.
· Develops IoT/A models: develops value selling strategies and programs linked to monetization models that may span multiple product divisions and 3rd party services. Work to strategically expand, preserve or improve the company's procedures, standards or policies while sticking to business edicts and regulatory guidelines.
· Business owner for IoT/A operations system enablement: liaises with IT to drive the definition of system requirements, functional specs and deployment of the needs supporting our IoT/A solution offering.
· Monitors performance in operations: collaborates with local and central teams to provide strategic, analytical and implementation support. Monitors country results to identify major deviations from defined plans, prioritizes immediate remediation measures and drives the
implementation of the required levers jointly with local teams.
· Monitors Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) and key recurring revenue metrics: brings visibility on customer lifetime value of every customer relationship to maximize retention rates and monthly recurring revenues. Experience, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:
· Bachelor's Degree in related discipline (Business, Marketing, Product Marketing). MBA is a plus. · +3 years working experience handling commercial operations involving both customer
accounts and suppliers.
· Working experience using value based pricing methods that include hardware, software
& services with focus on SaaS, PaaS and subscription/usage-based models is
a plus.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Good SAP knowledge.
· Proficiency in English.
· EU-Citizenship or working permit required.
