QA Automation Engineer en Granada

Job Description:
The QA Engineer provides supporting testing effort & tools appropriate to the service or project deliverables at hand. While the tech teams have direct requirements to ensure test coverage, QA Engineers both support and enforce these methodologies within teams, so a high-quality product never fails to be the outcome of a project.

Responsibilities of the position are:
  • Assisting the team with creating test strategy that best suits the project

  • Assisting the team with determining the definitions and criteria for ?sign off? and ?done?

for a project, producing QA Sign Off Criteria and Internal Release Notes documents for each release

  • Closely collaborates with Domain Experts and Business Analysts to identify and monitor the most valuable and risky features.

  • Integrates in the development team defining QA related tasks in every step of the development cycle, including release process and production versions.

  • Enforces and train the team in QA good practices and culture.

  • Identify bugs, evaluates its impact, defines test to cover it and enforces its solution.

  • Definition and surveillance of QA related metrics and articulate the tools to make the team aware of them.

  • Maintaining filters, creating dashboards, etc. in JIRA, producing metrics for weekly/monthly reports to identify trends and testing gaps, and investigate root causes

  • Updating project manager, product owner and head of product lines about the progress of testing

Candidates will be evaluated according to their matching with below profile:

  • 3+ Years of experience in responsibilities related with the position

  • Experience using and implementing test management software and automated testing frameworks

  • Strong experience writing Test Plans and Test Cases

  • Ability to think in process continuous improvement mid-term and in a tactical/execution level short-term.

  • Proven track record of building and continuously improving Quality Assurance teams

  • Software testing methodologies and SDLC (Secure Development Life-Cycle) techniques.

  • CI ? Jenkins as user.

  • Familiar with Scrum methodology.

  • Full Professional proficiency in English

  • Strong problem-solving, team player, written and verbal communication skills.
