Job Title: Night Manager

Reports to: Front Office Manager

Responsible for: The operation of the front office, reservations and associated activities during the night together with the safekeeping of the property.

Boho Club, situated on the Golden Mile in Marbella, is a new resort created by Swedish award-winning design company Stylt Trampoli. It will offer a mix of hotel rooms and bungalows to the guest and a kitchen led by the Michelin Star Chef Diego Del Río. The Hotel is due to open this summer and we are now looking for a Night Manager

Principle scope and purpose of job

As the Night Manager for Boho Club, you are fully responsible for the hotel during the night. You will ensure that everyone delivers outstanding service to all our guests in line with the vision and values of Boho Club.

Together with the team, work in a proactive and passionate way to develop a sustainable business. It is vital that pre-research is made for each arriving guest and deliver personal service accordingly and coordinate arrivals with reservations and housekeeping departments.

The Night Manager is also responsible for the PMS and key entry system, ensuring that information is accurate and timely and that system back-ups are undertaken as required and are completed.

You will report to the Front Office Manager and actively participate in the development of the department and the hotel with the rest of the Front Office Team.

Key tasks as follows:

Guest/Operation

  • Ensuring the set standards and expectations are maintained on the highest personal level. To develop a culture of excellence within the team.
  • Making sure all rooms are allocated for the day operation communicating any last-minute change to Housekeeping and Maintenance
  • Assist in the Check in & Check out guests, billing and end-of shift cashiering.
  • Coordinate VIP amenities in conjunction with the Front Office Manager and Housekeeping.
  • Provide updated room availability and rate information
  • Ensuring all guest requests are handled by the correct department.
  • To ensure that all stock, cash and keys are secured at all time and access is restricted to authorised staff only.
  • To be fully updated on the Emergency procedures.
  • Assist the Front Office Manager to be aware of and review all guest comments, both positive and negative, and where necessary advice on changes to avoid repetition.
  • To ensure a safe working environment is achieved in line with laid out hotel procedures and policies.
  • Ensure statistics are reported timely in accordance to the national and local laws and regulations.
  • To be responsible for handling all guest requests in a timely, efficient and polite manner. Always try the utmost to meet all guests? requests and exceed their expectations.

Financial

  • To provide information as requested by the Finance Department regarding all activities related to the reception department.
  • To ensure that all hotel procedures e.g. cash control, as laid out by Management ensuring that this happens within the reception.

Sales and Marketing

  • Assist the Front Office Manager in the development of the hotel?s guest profile records, especially for regular guests.
  • To assist with marketing and sales events/activities on an ad hoc basis.

People and Development

  • To assist in training and developing the new team members.
  • To be part of a creating and nurturing philosophy throughout the business to ensure a great team spirit.

Requirements

We see that you have at least 2-3 years experiences from front office and at least 1 year in a front office supervisory role.

You must have local knowledge of the Costa Del Sol area and have a proactiveness in regard to potential requests on and off property.

Prior knowledge of working with Mews Systems is a plus.

You speak fluent English and Spanish; other languages are a plus.

This job is 100% full time and you will be working according to the business needs, so early, evening, night and weekend work does occur. We offer a competitive salary and a great team of colleagues.
