WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As an a Sanctions Manager, you will be responsible to ensure that the Santander Group and Subsidiaries fully comply with all applicable sanctions and embargoes applicable to it. The Sanctions Manager will help the development and adherence to the Santander Group?s risk appetite in regards to Sanctions and global standards.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

  • Agree and oversee adherence to relevant elements of both local and global policies.

  • Proactively identify, manage and mitigate control and process failures.

  • Work with local FCC and first line of defence to document issues where appropriate and deploy demonstrable remedial action where required.

  • Maintain awareness of operational risk within Units and minimize the likelihood of it occurring by ensuring (through effective challenge) that controls are both implementable and sustainable. Ensure that fair treatment of the bank?s customers is at the heart of the Units? control environment.

Requisitos


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
EXPERIENCE
Required
  • 5+ years in Sanctions.

  • Knowledge of Banking Industry

EDUCATION
Required
  • University Degree.
Desired
  • Master?s Degree or MBA.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Sanctions programs and interpretation

  • Excellent analytical, judgmental and critical thinking skills

  • Language skills ? High level of English and Spanish.
    OTHER INFORMATION

  • Availability to travel
