Important international company with multiple factories throughout Europe is looking for a continuous improvement engineer for its headquarters in Castellón The position?s main activity will focus on leading and executing the continuous improvement projects of the factory.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading the advancement of the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) pillar in the LEAN playbook, and facilitate focused improvement workshops across the site.

• Conducts motion and time studies to identify opportunities and offer solutions that improve worker safety, ergonomics and optimize manufacturing throughput.

• Drive a continuous improvement culture by training and coaching production team members on how to identify root-causes, implement standard operating procedures and countermeasures.

• Utilize continuous improvement tools, TPM methodology to identify improvement opportunities in waste reduction

• Identifies process constraints and develops solutions to eliminate waste, simplify processes and reduce operating cost.

• Ensure continuous cycle of capability development at all levels of the organization by delivering a training plan in alignment to GPS standard body of knowledge.

• Drives problem solving capability in supply chain through training and coaching of root cause failure analysis tools.

• Develops and maintains Lean training calendar.

• Manages and maintains the reporting of Metrics, KPI?s, and Scorecards

• Facilitates lean assessments to identify system gaps, and to develop plans to address the opportunities to improve maturity.

• Train teams on the use of project tracking tool for financial benefit reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor?s degree in, Engineering, Science, Supply Chain, Business or equivalent is required;

• Master?s degree a plus.

• 3 to 5 years? experience in continuous improvement (lean manufacturing) in manufacturing environment

• Lean Six Sigma Green / Yellow / Black Belt or accredited TPM certificacion a plus

• TPM and workshop facilitation skills.

• Experience implementing and managing Lean systems

• Background in engineering and manufacturing environments.

• Strong analytical skills to analyze processes and material flow, understand financial impact and embed continuous improvement culture.

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

• Interpersonal skills to interact with diverse groups of individuals and different levels of the organization.

• High level of fluency in Spanish and English is required
