Job Description

Rast-Co Technical Sevilla is looking for a skilled and motivated Network Technician (Técnico de Redes) to join our IT infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network systems to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient connectivity across the organization. You will work closely with IT support and systems administration teams to maintain optimal network performance.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
• Monitor network performance and ensure maximum system availability.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity, hardware, and configuration issues.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and network devices.
• Perform routine network maintenance, firmware updates, and security checks.
• Assist with network expansion, upgrades, and infrastructure projects.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and technical records.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement security policies and ensure network reliability.
• Provide technical support to users experiencing network-related issues.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Network Technician, IT Network Support Technician, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and network protocols.
• Experience configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, and network monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of network security principles and troubleshooting techniques.
• Relevant networking certifications such as Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
