Job Description

DifiStore Digital Sevilla is seeking an experienced and proactive Linux Administrator to join our IT operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and securing Linux-based servers and infrastructure to ensure optimal system performance and availability. You will work closely with development and network teams to support business-critical applications and services.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and operating systems.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
• Perform system updates, patch management, and routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and file systems.
• Configure and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using Bash or Python scripting.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to deploy and support applications.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and technical processes.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Linux Administrator, Systems Administrator, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat, or Debian.
• Experience with shell scripting (Bash) and basic Python scripting is an advantage.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies, Docker, and cloud platforms is a plus.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, firewalls, DNS, and TCP/IP.
• Experience with monitoring tools and system performance optimization.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
