Descripción
1. General:
- Provide support to the workforce across EMEA ensuring that IT hardware and software is fit for purpose and in working order
- Maintain of IT system and infrastructure such as servers and network, printers, conference systems
- Keep inventory list (hardware, software license, etc.) updated
- Document all faults and resolutions, accurately and systematically
- Liaise with support vendor for networks, servers, etc. to resolve technical / procurement issues
- Assist the IT Manager with the implementation of any new processes and procedures required for IT needs of the business
- Once enough experience has been gained after joining the company, assist Day to Day Support with Operation Team as the 2nd line support
- Cover the team members when there is a lack of human resources
- Liaise with Head Office IT support in Japan HQ
- Assist IT related audits and IT review, evaluation activities
- Assist IT managers to manage allocated IT budget
- Any other duties as required within the scope of your role
2. Details:
- Be able to perform the following day-to-day operations:
- Processing of requests regarding New starters / Leavers
- 1st line user support enquiries
- Fulfilment of requests (Different types of demands raised by users. Typically, small standard changes that are low risk, frequently performed, require less approval, are low cost etc.)
- Installation (PC / Smart devices / Application etc.)
- Incident recording
- Alert message checks
- Endpoint device management
- Software license management
- ID management
- Procurement (Standard PC, software, accessories, etc.)
- Escalation of enquiries to 2nd line support
- Liaison with IT suppliers
- Evaluate, maintain, troubleshoot, document system references, maintenance procedures and reports for IT infrastructure, including but not limited to servers and networking
- Administer arrangements for securing data, ensuring back-up procedures, disaster recovery plans and other systems are working effectively
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Troubleshoot, document, upgrade and build up maintenance procedures for end-point devices, operating systems, and business applications
- Plan, design and organise the progress, installation, integration, and function of computer-based systems
- Plan, evaluate, configure, test, deploy, troubleshoot and document a varied range of software applications
- Ensure security and upgrades are applied and kept up to date on servers and other systems
- Take responsibility and advise on the choice of software, learning resources and future developments of the IT infrastructure
- Follow the corporation regulations for infrastructure implementation

4. Person Specification:
- Graduate level education preferred and proven IT related experience e.g. Comptia A+/Windows Client OS MCP or its equivalent certified desirable
- Previous work experience within networking / server troubleshooting is a plus
- Excellent computer knowledge and mastery of common networking, servers and business software packages for office work
- Fluency in business level English essential
- Familiar with hardware and software safety and security protocols
- ITIL Foundation certified desirable
- Flexible to business travel (c. 10-20%) throughout EMEA
