We are looking for an SAP Technology Expert to be part of our SAP Landscape Team in the IT Platforms Stream Position Snapshot Location: Barcelona Type of Contract: Permanent Stream: IT Platforms Type of work: Hybrid Work Language: Fluent Business English The role As a member of the SAP Technologies area, you will use your expertise and passion to contribute to the team’s success within one of the largest and most complex SAP implementations in the world. As SAP Basis Technology Expert, you will drive operational excellence, design solutions to deliver resilient, compliant and performant SAP Landscape, and contribute to Nestle IT Digital Transformation. You will be part of the SAP Landscape team and will work closely with Enterprise Architecture team and partners to ensure to deliver SAP platform technology roadmap and value to the business. What you’ll do Lead and drive partners to deliver a stable platform and remain accountable with the boundaries of SAP RISE service model setup. Provide deep expert SAP Technologies/Basis guidance and support in their specific specialties (e.g. HANA, S/4 suite, SAP Business suite (ERP, BW/BI, APO, PI), SAP SaaS Solutions (BTP, SSF, CALM) etc.) Provides the product team with technical expertise, advising on best technology solutions, translating the business vision into technical vision. Makes recommendations on how to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and delivery of services using (emerging and SAP) technology and technical methods and methodologies like NZDT, ZDO, etc. Participates in the development of and/or review of standards, documentation and methods of working in the relevant area of expertise Responsible for ensuring that all solutions within their technology area (like ERP, BI, APO, BRIM, CALM, MII, HANA, etc.) are delivered and maintained secure and compliant with internal standards and external regulations, including privacy requirements Problem solving skills, including incident resolution, RCA. Able to take technical requirements, analysis these, identify existing solutions or architect new. We offer you We offer more than just a job. What Will Make You Successful Technical skills Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management Solid know-how of SAP BASIS Technologies and Products (SAP certification highly beneficial) Expert level BASIS, HANA, SUSE knowledge (preferably Pacemaker experience) > 8 years Good knowledge of Hyperscaler infrastructure, tools, and processes > 2 years Understanding of ITSM tools and best practices.
