Madrid

Join our fully remote, mission-driven team dedicated to pioneering sustainable inflight service management. Work on innovative technology solutions with global impact, collaborate within a diverse, international environment, and continuously enhance your skills through ongoing learning opportunities. Headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland with team members across 11 countries, we offer a dynamic and engaging company culture that celebrates creativity, collaboration, and inclusion. We’re still founder‑led, moving fast, and now entering a phase where engineering needs to scale in a structured, predictable, and sustainable way. That’s why we’re hiring a Head of Engineering. Over the next two years, our goal is to significantly increase engineering capacity while improving predictability, reliability, and ownership. This role is central to making that happen. About the role We are on a mission to contribute to a zero-waste future by drastically reducing food waste, fuel consumption, costs, and most importantly, CO₂ emissions in the airline industry. Every role in our company is a direct contributor to this vision - and as a Head of Engineering, you’ll be at the heart of the team that makes it possible. This role exists because we’ve outgrown a purely founder‑driven engineering setup. As Head of Engineering, your job is to turn a strong group of engineers into a scalable engineering organization. You sit between the Head of Technology (founder team) and the engineering teams and your goal is to build the structures, leadership layers, and delivery discipline required to support continued growth. This is a leadership role, but not a purely administrative one: you should still be able to contribute and understand technical context, help the team make sound decisions, challenge assumptions, and guide complex topics when needed. Key responsibilities Lead and scale the engineering organization with a strong focus on people leadership, organizational structure, and delivery predictability. Own engineering delivery at an organizational level, including capacity planning, prioritization, roadmap feasibility, and dependency management across multiple initiatives and projects. Directly manage and develop engineering leadership (Tech Leads and QA Leads), and evolve the management and ownership model as the organization grows. Work closely with the Head of Technology, Product, and leadership to translate business priorities into clear, realistic engineering plans and trade‑offs. Set clear standards together with teams for architecture, quality, reliability, and security, and ensure teams can execute against them independently. Be accountable for overall service reliability by ensuring appropriate ownership, escalation paths, and continuous improvement practices are in place. Lead hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development to support sustainable team growth. Build and introduce the next layer of engineering capabilities beyond feature teams, including areas such as architecture, security, compliance (e.g. ISO or SOC 2 certification), and platform concerns. Strengthen engineering processes, decision‑making, and accountability to reduce reliance on individuals and founders. Foster a culture of clarity, ownership, and continuous improvement as the organization scales. Key competencies 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, including hands-on experience building and operating production web-based systems. 4+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles (e.g. Engineering Manager, Head of Engineering, Tech Lead with people management responsibility), with ownership over people, delivery, and planning. Strong background in delivery leadership, planning, and prioritization in SaaS or product‑focused environments. Solid understanding of software architecture and operating web‑based production systems in a Microsoft tech stack (Azure and .NET). Experience leading senior engineers or technical leads and helping them grow into broader leadership roles. Experience working closely with founders or executive leadership during a scaling phase. Financial and headcount planning experience within an engineering organization. Strong communication skills across technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Good understanding of security fundamentals and secure software delivery. Nice-to-have: Experience in compliance‑minded or regulated environments (e.g. ISO 27001, SOC 2). Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, or data platforms. Experience with Frontend technologies like Angular and Typescript Experience in B2B SaaS, remote‑first teams, or operationally intensive domains. Experience with AI tools supporting the SDLC process Language Min. English C1 Expected travel needs 2 annual one-week team events Our Tech Stack C# (.NET 8–10), ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Blob Storage Azure App Services & Functions, Docker Azure Service Bus, Terraform GitHub Actions, SonarQube, extensive unit & integration tests Angular Latest Version Databricks and Azure Fabric Hiring Process Recruiter Screen (45 mins) Interview with the Hiring Manager (1 hour) Technical interview (1 hour) Management Leadership Interview (1 hour) Discussion with founder(s) and peer(s) (1 hour) LimeFlight is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or background can thrive and do their best work. Join us and be part of a team committed to shaping a zero-waste future for aviation, where your ideas and passion truly matter. Let’s talk!

Clovr Labs is looking for a contractor to manage the day-to-day validation of new business ideas inside our Innovation & Growth Lab (IGL), working hand in hand with our Marketing team. Let's give you some context on who we're looking for and what to expect when you join the team. About us Clovr Labs is an agile technology partner helping high-growth companies solve complex challenges in crypto, cybersecurity, and digital product development. Our team of engineers, security experts, and product specialists co-build innovative solutions with clients, from strategy to execution. We provide cybersecurity consulting, crypto compliance, and custom software development (from infrastructure design to scalable MVPs). We also research and prototype emerging technologies, including DeFi, AI-native infrastructure, and advanced security systems. Through our Innovation & Growth Lab, we validate and transform new business ideas into real, market-ready products. Our approach combines strategic advisory, deep technical expertise, and product innovation to build secure, future-proof solutions. About the Innovation & Growth Lab (IGL) IGL is Clovr Labs' exploratory lab, focused on launching and validating new business ideas at high speed. We operate like an internal venture studio, mixing product, growth, and strategy to go from 0 1. Until now, validation has been a shared effort across the whole team. That worked while we were exploring, but today the core team is focused on scaling two ventures born in the lab, CreditCheck and N0, and new-idea validation has been put on hold. That's where you come in: your mission is to reactivate the validation engine, running its day-to-day together with our Marketing team. About the role As Innovation & Validation Specialist, you'll manage the day-to-day of our validation pipeline: spotting promising opportunities, turning raw ideas into testable hypotheses, running fast and cheap experiments, and delivering clear, evidence-based go/no-go recommendations. You'll report to our Marketing team and work hand in hand with them: strategy and priorities are defined together, and you'll drive the day-to-day execution of each experiment. Projects can come from any sector, although most of the opportunities we explore live in the tech and AI space. Key responsibilities Scout and evaluate new business opportunities, market trends, and emerging technologies, mostly in tech and AI, but open to any sector. Translate raw ideas into clear hypotheses and structured validation plans: problem, target customer, riskiest assumptions, and success criteria. Design and run lean validation experiments: landing pages, paid campaigns, waitlists, smoke tests, discovery interviews, and lightweight prototypes. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery to assess demand, desirability, and viability. Coordinate day-to-day with the Marketing team and the resources around you, paid media partner, designer, and execution support, to run each experiment. Define success metrics and validation criteria upfront, and share findings and go/no-go recommendations with the Marketing team and leadership. Maintain a structured innovation pipeline, documenting experiments, learnings, and decisions over time. You won't do it alone You'll have a full support system around you to execute at speed: A paid media partner to plan, launch, and optimize validation and acquisition campaigns. A designer for landing pages, ad creatives, and any assets your experiments need. The Marketing team to define strategy and priorities with you, and to help execute the operational actions each experiment requires. You might be a fit if you have A true entrepreneurial spirit: you think like a founder, move fast, and make things happen without waiting for instructions. A highly proactive, self-motivated approach to problem solving. The flexibility to adapt to any type of project or sector, and the curiosity to get up to speed on a new market in days, not weeks. 3–5+ years of experience in innovation, venture building, growth, product management, or market validation roles. Familiarity with lean startup and experiment-driven methodologies (MVPs, smoke tests, discovery interviews, hypothesis testing). Strong analytical skills, comfortable designing experiments and interpreting both qualitative and quantitative data. Strong prioritization skills, comfortable running multiple experiments in parallel. The ability to communicate clearly across audiences, translating between business and technical stakeholders. Fluent written and spoken English. Experience in a venture studio, consultancy, or high-growth startup environment is a plus. Hands-on experience with AI tools, no-code platforms, or paid acquisition (e.g. Meta Ads) is a plus. What we offer A contractor engagement with full flexibility: remote and asynchronous work within Spain, independence, and autonomy in your day-to-day. Being based in Barcelona or the surrounding area is a plus, as the team meets there regularly. Scope and dedication to be agreed together. A key role in bringing our validation pipeline back to life, hand in hand with the Marketing team. Fair compensation for people with attitude above all (35K - 40K). A stimulating and challenging environment at the intersection of tech, AI, crypto, and cybersecurity. Room to experiment with emerging technologies and new ideas, that's literally the job. A passionate and diverse team to share and learn with. Clovr Labs is incorporated in Spain and the team meets regularly in Barcelona. We speak English and Spanish, most of the time at the same time, but we would appreciate it if you could send us the contents of your application in English.
